INTO ETERNITY’s Long-Awaited New Album Is ‘Almost Done,’ Says Tim Roth

Canadian progressive metal icons INTO ETERNITY are putting the final touches on their long-awaited new studio album. In a new interview with The Metal Voice , guitarist/backing vocalist Tim Roth and lead singer Stu Block shared an exciting update: the album is nearly complete. “All we have left is four songs for bass. All my guitars, drums — everything else is done,” said Roth. “Stu’s vocals will be the last thing. So yeah, 10 new songs, maybe 12 if we include a couple bonus tracks. In a candid new interview on SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation , legendary BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi opened up about the emotional and logistical weight of the band’s historic final reunion at “Back To The Beginning” , held July 5 at Villa Park in Birmingham, England. Although SABBATH performed only four classic songs — “War Pigs,” “Iron Man,” “N.I.B.” and “Paranoid” — Iommi revealed that the band had rehearsed six to seven tracks and were ready to do more. However, time constraints, venue curfews, and concern for Ozzy Osbourne’s health limited the set. “We ended up doing four songs where we put aside sort of six or seven,” Iommi said. “It worked out that we did four.
